This external quality assessment scheme assesses the accuracy of the assay of one of the markers used in the monitoring of osteoporosis: C-terminal telopeptide (CTX).

This scheme is not compatible with the method ELISA (IDS).

Number of control samples per survey: 1 or 2
Number of samples per year: 6

4 - Description of the Control Samples

Liquid, ready-to-use, animal control serums (volume: 2.5 mL) and lyophilized human control serums (samples to be resuspended in 1 mL of distilled water).
